12:00 am - I'm in bed watching Modern Family. I should have been asleep awhile ago, but I'm not sleepy yet.

12:45 - Lights out!

7:50 am - My alarm goes off. It's cold for the first time in my room this year.

8:10-9:00 - I turn the heat on. I shower, get dressed, make coffee, and eat a granola bar. I should have made a smoothie, but I didn't have enough time.

9:00 - I walk to the subway andhead to Temple.

9:30 - My first class of the day is Race & the Law. Today we talk about legal cases that came down in the 1960s as well as other political and social events in that era. After class, I met with a group of classmates to complete a group assignment that's due tonight.

11:15 - I went to meet up with some of my friends in the library and we chatted about this past weekend and about an exam we all have to take in a few weeks in order to be admitted into the bar (like a smaller, less consequential bar exam).

1:10 - I went to my second class of the day, criminal procedure. Today we were learning about stop and frisk.

2:30 - Took the subway home, Obama was speaking on campus so there were street blockages, crowds, and lots of police. Stopped at Walgreens for a few grocery items on the way home. I made a big caprese salad for a snack and watched an episode of What We Do in the Shadows.

3:40 - had a real quick check in on Zoom with student affairs to confirm I'm on track to graduate in the spring

4:00-4:35 - I worked on my embroidery project!

4:35-6:00 - I should have been doing homework for my Land Use class, but I felt too tired and out of it, so I just cleaned and folded laundry and stuff instead. This year it's really hard to force myself to focus on school work. My days are constantly a struggle with myself to decide if I reeeeally need to do homework or if I can get away with not doing it. I ended a nearly 5-year relationship recently so my priorities have been more about getting out and doing stuff than studying. Plus, I have a job lined up for after school already.

6:00 - I head to my first ever drawing class!! 

6:30-9:00 - Drawing class! We do a bunch of freestyle mark making with charcoals and then practiced gesture drawings. It was hard!!

9:30 - I make a quick dinner, primarily consisting of instant mac n cheese.

10:35 - I start watching Modern Family again and drinking some peppermint tea.

11:45 - lights out!

Fiona is in her third year of law school. After law school she'll be working at a law firm here in Philadelphia.
