woke up sleepy and checked the weather—rain.

coffee is already made. i recently upgraded to a coffee maker with a timer and it’s bleak how much this has improved my quality of life.

took a shower. i don’t think i like xpn as much as i once did but i still listen to it while i shower. i can’t be responsible for decision making that early. 

got dressed and left for work after triple checking all my appliances and candles though i know everything is already off.

grabbed cigarettes at my favorite south philly business—711.

walked to the bsl and got on after not having to wait long. surprisingly empty train—things are looking up for me today. 

got off and waited for the shuttle which took much longer but it always does. 

work stuff / meetings. saw a really cool brigitte bardot book. 

was at the office until 5ish and did the same shuttle / bsl song and dance on the way back to my apartment.

got home. to decompress i like to lay in the dark and listen to music so i did that for a little until my friend jody called me.

we decide to meet up in center city and go see a band at kung fu necktie. i hate the el and am already dreading it. 

left the house. walked to center city because it’s not raining anymore and it’s not really that cold. 

met up at wendy’s on chestnut. they never made jody’s order so i sit while he eats. i go outside to smoke a cigarette. two people ask me for a cigarette.

we think we missed his friend's band so we go to mcglincheys. we grab a beer. we decide to uber to fishtown after his friend texts him that we didn't miss the band.

the uber driver talks to us briefly before making a phone call which i thought was funny.

got to kung fu necktie just in time. there was an overwhelming amount of photographers.

ubered back to mcglincheys with my friends garret, kevin, and jody.
