Mark: “I’m playing Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony in an orchestra I’ve been a member of since I was 19. My friend Bob is conducting and I’m honking away with my friend, Kris. My friend Rick used to play here for decades, but doesn’t anymore. I got my start as a conductor here and I showed my old teacher Mr. Johnson what I could do. Now I compose music for movies and sometimes I conduct orchestras. I keep on keeping on.”
