When I initially agreed to join this wonderful project, I thought my entire day would be spent in Philly; fast-forward to today, and I woke up in Bethany Beach Delaware. I’d say many people who live in Philly frequent the beaches in the summer. I prefer the Delaware beaches over the Jersey Shore beaches. Nonetheless, it’s a blessing to be able to unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.  

9:32 am 

A morning walk to the beach makes it so much better. As much as I love the city, it’s nice to come to the beach to relax and unwind. The weather is sunny with a cool breeze. I walked to the farmers market and didn’t realize how big of a deal peaches are in Delaware.  

4:30 pm 

I just made it back to Philly from Bethany Beach. Overall, it was a fun weekend, and I had a great lunch with my guys! Now that I’m in Philly, I’m unpacking while watching Rams v Cowboys. I am still a fan, even though Steve Kronke took the West Coast money. Nonetheless, this is my team! 

Yes, I realize the Phillies are playing the Dbacks right now, but I’m on break from away games when it comes to the Phillies. I’ll figure out if we won or lost tomorrow.

I walked down the iconic South St and took a fantastic photo of Jim’s. I had dinner at McNeal's Bar and Grill. 50 Cents wings on Sunday are hard to beat and a pretty cool sign.

9:01 pm 

The walk back was amazing, and Philly had a great sunset tonight. It was a great day and a good weekend overall. I understand it’s only 9 p.m., but I love going to bed early to get ready for the week! I am grateful to be part of this amazing project.
