8:14 wake up naturally from the light
8:55 still in bed, realized that it’s my day!!!! Been dilly dallying feel like I’m missing something but not sure what
Last night was Elliot’s birthday (party). Me and my roommates went over to his house and honestly literally rolled around on the floor for a while. It’s a block away and I can’t believe my luck that I have a friend so close that I can scurry over to and say ho hum to, potentially too much.
We were the only ones who came over and we ate far too much focaccia and I had 2 polar seltzers. We discussed velvet goldmine—Elliot wants to watch it soon and suggested a larger group. Soso said they probably don’t want to see ewan mcgregor’s full asshole with people they don’t know that well. We took those little receipt photos. It was fun.
We discussed how Elliot almost set his porch on fire by accidentally ashing into the crumbly dry wood. I smelled something weird and we turned to see a large plume of smoke and part of the porch smoldering. Perhaps the lesson here is although it seems like admitting a bad habit, it may be safer to get an ashtray.
Ok 9:08 getting up my ears are ringing
I decide for my 30th birthday I want to have a fire in my backyard but also I want to have a big show. My birthday's in December and maybe it will be too cold for fire but I feel like it will probably be perfect. My birthday's on a Sunday so I feel like that means a Saturday event is actually perfect.
At this point I have a few lost hours. I have no idea what I was up to. I've looked at my texts and photos and can not for the life of me figure out what happened. I think I took a shower and started to do some work on my computer but have no way to confirm.
BUT at some point I need to finish up my syllabus for my puppetry course so I head over to greenline to Get Work Done. Confirmed photo timestamp and we're back in business.

5ish ran into Elliot and Avery carrying paintings back from the show at Icebox! Elliot used the bathroom. We tried out the piano that the landlord said he was going to take away but hasn’t yet.
I walk out of the house in search of a vegetable that isn't too far away. I end up at the vegetable truck next to the Supremo that is closed right now for health violations. The man at the stand lets me have an eggplant for 50 cents because I have no other cash. I think it's a great deal.

At this point I cook, work some more, time slips until....
9:42 arrived at Elliot‘s house! Will was on the steps but said shhh so I didn’t say hello to him. I’m drinking a polar seltzer. Will comes up and Logan comes shortly after and I give them Precious Moments I found at a house cleanout in Lansdale. We use Elliot's new baby cam and take photos. Elliot shows us you can put yourself on a dollar which is cool.

We take a pitstop at my house so everyone can see it and double back to karaoke at Abyssinia. Somehow time had really slipped away (again!) and I had only a few minutes to put in my song (chicago, sufjan stevens) which I did thankfully get to sing as it was a bizarrely quiet night.
11:30ish I say farewell to my dear friends and drive over to center city to an undisclosed location to do one of my jobs which is wedding florals which as of now consists of throwing out 10s of thousands of dollars of flowers out when the wedding band plays their final note.

My shift goes on until 3:30 at which point I think to myself, I simply cannot do an all nighter and thankfully do not have to. I get home at 4, brush my teeth and get to slumber.
