Wake up at 6:15 to my sweet boyfriend rubbing my back before he leaves for work
Hit snooze until 6:45
Make myself my go-to breakfast (massive bowl of greek yogurt with blueberries and honey) and get on the bus
Get to my job at (redacted) and realize I left my badge at home so I have to wait for someone to let me into my office
No one pays attention to what I do on Fridays so I will be chilling and scrolling and listening to Otherworld and spending a lot of time at the park
I take my after-lunch walk around the Washington square west/Gayborhood area and gasp at all the beautiful flowers
Grab a yerb from Jay’s Deli then head to Washington Square Park until my 2:00 meeting
I listen to my playlist and get harassed by this one squirrel and watch everyone enjoy the beautiful weather after last week’s brutal heat wave
There are always those dogs with the human eyes at this park… you know the ones
A family of three come sit on my bench even though there are two open benches very close to us… trying not to be annoyed by things like this but I was enjoying my peace
The older lady of the group starts filming and keeps getting me in the shot so I decide it is time to find a new bench
There are two sweet babies playing and swimming in the fountain
My 2:00 meeting was canceled and i get out of work early. I stop at locust bar for a gin and soda with some coworkers before heading home
Somehow a little tipsy and decide to catch the bus but realize halfway through my ride I would rather walk so I get off in Grad Hospital and take my sweet time getting home
Get home around 4:30 and am greeted by my roommates cat, chickpea. I catch a pic of her yawning :)
I lay under my ceiling fan for like ten minutes before getting ready for my night
I finally get to wear these cute shoes that I thrifted that showcase my new bitchy French pedicure
Drive over to Brewerytown for this art show at my boyfriend’s job. A few friends have some pieces in it so I drink some beer (they are out of seltzers) and catch up for a bit. Really vibing with this alien family painting
After the art show we’re completely starving and want noodles so we just say fuggit
and go to Han Dynasty. We order the pork belly in chili oil, dandan noodles and hot sauce style beef
I immediately get chili oil on my white shirt
We get the itis and decide to just have a chill night in
Put on the movie Sorcerer but I pass out almost immediately which always happens when I watch a movie on my couch… will try again later
