September 5—AYIP Update

Hi Everyone,

I have decided that the next phase of A Year in Philadelphia will be outsourced! This means that I will find 12 people to each curate a month of 2025 in Philly. This way, the project will hopefully feature a wider scope of Philadelphians.

Curators can view their month as a house and they can fill the days up as they please! The month can have a theme, they can require the people participating in their month to work in a certain medium (video, photo, etc), they can be a teacher and have each of their students do a day, etc. Be creative and true to you and your Philly experience!

If you are interested in curating a month, please fill out this Google form. Please be as detailed as possible in the “What do you plan/hope to do with your month?” section.

I look forward to seeing everyone’s ideas! I’ll be in touch with monthly curators at some point in October.
