There are two thoughts I have pretty much every morning. One is “I can’t wait to sleep tonight” and the other is “I need coffee.” Like, I need coffee in an IV. I’m a regular Lorelai Gilmore. Anyways, I digress.
My coffee shop crush hasn’t been working the past couple of weeks. I feel like he must have quit/left and it bums me out. There is a new dude who works there but it’s not the same. I miss the banter the most. Maybe I should write a missed connection on craigslist. Do people still do that? Do people even still use craigslist?
One of my favorite things about Philly is just walking around. You never know what you are going to see or what is going to happen. My phone is filled with weird things I have seen as I walk around. I don’t have a car so I do a lot of walking around our fair city.
It’s spring time which means (hopefully) nicer weather, flowers, and of course, allergies. I love flowers and trees but they do not love me. Or rather, my body does not love pollen. After I walked to get coffee I had a meeting for work which was cute because I was fully sneezing and coughing the entire time. And then I had to small talk. Oh my god, what a nightmare. Allergies and nightmare. I took medicine to help with my allergies but there is no pill to take to make me like small talk.
Which is the statue or a cat and which is the real cat? You decide.
I live in a tiny studio apartment and there isn’t really a spot for a tv. Ok actually there probably is a spot for it but I am tired and don’t feel like rearranging my stuff so instead I store my tv next to the loveseat (which gets no love, let me tell ya) and then plug it in when I want to watch something on a bigger screen than my iPad.
I’m going to cancel Disney+ because I can’t justify paying for it just so I can watch the Era’s Tour whenever I need to feel something.
