Dariel
Today I woke up two minutes before my alarm at 7:28, procrastinated getting out of bed til 8, then gazed jealously at my peacefully sleeping boyfriend while I downed my coffee. Ran to the BSL and made it to work just 5 minutes late! Worked all day on some spreadsheets and coding, with some meetings sprinkled in. It was too hot to go on a walk during lunchtime like I usually do, so I just grabbed food from the grocery store and ate at my desk. After work, I took the subway back home, changed, and hopped back on to go to the Phillies-Padres game with some friends! It was pride night, and we got free Phillies pride fanny packs. Nearly died taking four flights of stairs to the veggie hot dog stand, but successfully acquired an ($18!!) summer shandy and 2 veggie dogs. The Phillies won by a landslide and we were there to hear the bell ring, which was my first time! Then we packed like sardines back onto the BSL and headed home. Overall, a lovely day.
